Daylily Perennial
Hemerocallis
Daylilies are rugged, adaptable, vigorous perennials that live in the garden for many years with little to no care. They establish quickly and there are many varieties and a wide range of flower colours. Most varieties will re-bloom through the summer. Each plant produces an abundance of flower buds that open over a long period of time, but each blooms remains open for only one day. Great planted in perennial gardens, mass plantings, as a ground cover on slopes. Daylily flowers come in many colours, shades and colour combinations. Some flowers are very full and round, others have wide petals with ruffles edges and borders. One of the most popular varieties is Stella de Oro.
